About Us
Electro Chemical Enterprises was founded by late Mr. Maxwell Don on the 7th of February 1991 established at No. 40, W. A. D. Ramanayake Mw, Colombo 02. Today it has expanded to be a group of four entities working together to become one of the leaders in the car battery industry in Sri Lanka driven forward by Mr. Trevinne Don the Chief Executive Officer of the Yucon Lanka / Electro Chemical Group.
Starting off as an agency for local and imported brands already available in Sri Lanka the group has expanded to have their very own brands of Automotive and Motor Cycle Batteries and Battery Accessories imported from prestigious manufacturers in Thailand, Malaysia, China and Taiwan. Their main brand “Yucon” well known for high quality is imported from the Yuasa factory in Thailand.
The value placed on each and every customer and the importance of providing the best possible service in the most efficient manner has brought the Electro Chemical / Yucon Lanka Group on a long and successful journey.
The Group has three outlets serving corporate clients and walk-in customers in Colombo 02, Peliyagoda and Kandana while also having an Island wide Distributor network delivering their brands though out the country.
